This manual of Esoteric devotion is compiled from her writings for the use of the large and increasing number of devout persons who, whether able or not to recognize under the orthodox presentation of religion the spiritual truths requisite for the sustenance and satisfaction of the soul, earnestly desire an expression of such truths divested of the veils of history, parable, allegory, and symbol by which hitherto they have been concealed rather than revealed, and, where perverted or mutilated, restored to their original proper sense and integrity.
