As a little child, my mother always made sure we were in church. It was an important part of my life, and I never forgot it.
I knew about God growing up, but I didn't know who he was until I gave my life to him over 20 years ago. It was the best decision I ever made. I was teaching Sunday school at the age of 12 at the former House of Truth Church, under the late Pastor Clifford Butler Sr. God has always been an important part of my life. I just had to come to the realization for myself. My passion has always been to serve the Lord, even at a young age I knew God had something for me to do. I am a Minister, a Teacher, Singer, and whatever else I can do for the Lord. The word says: Colossians 3:24"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men." There is a foundation Scripture that I stand on: Joshua 25:15 especially the part "As for me and My house we will serve the Lord." My poetry in this book are the golden inspirational nuggets that I have found and hold on to in my daily life.
