There is an urgent need to recover an appreciation of the ascension--as a theological vision for the triumph of God in Christ and as an orientation for worship, prayer, and the mission of the church. What does the ascension mean? What difference does it make? And how does the church live in dynamic union with the Ascended Lord and Christ.
