In My Darkest Silence

Quietness filled the room. At the same time, I attempted to understand the void that I felt. It was an unusual moment, but the experience seemed to linger on. I'll forever remember the intensity that surrounded me at this period.. I knew this was merely a warning sign. A reminder of all that awaited us if we chose the same path. Yet at this very moment, I had experienced. I didn't have the ability to restrain myself. Sure, I felt the weakness that resonated deep within me. But as usual, we dismissed it as if it were merely an assumption.
A thought that should take precedence over the reality we knew. And in truth. I was seeking a way to discredit this idea within myself. We knew we weren't capable of even doing this.
