Huck escapes and hides himself on Jackson's Island in the middle of the Mississippi River. There, he meets Jim, one of Miss Watson's slaves. Jim has run away from Miss Watson after hearing her talk about selling him to a farm down the river. That is the beginning of their adventures down the Mississippi River…. Qiliang Feng has been teaching English in senior high schools since 1983.
