About

When moving on means moving out...

Surely there should be a rule book for what to do in your twenties? A To Do list at the very least. But if there is a guidebook out there to getting through the decade with heart, sanity and finances intact, twenty-two-year-old Flick Sage doesn't feel like she quite got the message.

Fresh out of university in Manchester and struggling to climb the career ladder in London, Flick's devastated when her boyfriend decides to move out after dumping her. Being forced to move into a house share with three complete strangers is not exactly something she saw coming.

But quickly these house mates become her support system and they're always on hand to help her navigate the ups and downs of the life she's currently winging. Encouraged by her big sister (who of course has it all figured out, right?) she writes a bucket list of things she can do to reclaim her twenties post-break up.

But what do you do when this list accidentally turns into a magazine column after your boss catches wind of it? Enter Teddy, the cute guy that quickly becomes Flick's friend after a tennis meet-cute. With the column now finding its feet, she's in way over her head, somehow managing to fake-date Teddy to please her readers and her boss.

But the further Flick gets into twenties life, the more she realises that maybe she's not the only one following the 'fake it 'til you make' it mantra.
