Gods Among Insects (the Gifted)

The sequel to Gods Among Insects (The Traveler), this book follows the adventures of a young woman named Samantha Kane an orphan and a product of the foster care system who inexplicably gains superhuman abilities in the same manner as the protagonist of the book and is tossed in the middle of a bigger plot that leaves the fate of the world in the hands of people like her.
