About
If Fridolin the badger hadn't been driven out of his cosy cave in the Huller bush forest by the fox Isolein, he would have been able to continue to cultivate his best qualities in peace and quiet, and eventually become the most lazy, grouchy and reclusive specimen of his species. But now he has to find a new cave. He makes some strange acquaintances, also with bipeds that grow delicious corn on their fields. Hans Fallada wrote this story for his daughter Lore, called Mücke (mosquito), as a present for Christmas 1944. A publication was out of the question at that time and so he wrote the booklet only for his daughter.
