He has won a Nebula and World Fantasy Award, holds a PhD in Media and Cultural Studies from SOAS, University of London, and is a Clarion West graduate. Natalia's debut novel, Sour Cherry, a Bluebeard retelling about toxic masculinity and cycles of abuse, came out in April 2025 (Tin House & Wildfire). Born in Greece, with roots in Georgia, Russia, and Turkey, he now lives in the UK.
