Elizabeth Abroad: India

As autumn approaches, all of Meryton is looking forward to the Regimental Ball-except for Elizabeth Bennet, who simply cannot imagine anything more dull than, yet another ball. As the household prepares, Mr. Bennet receives news that his estranged brother, a relation unknown to Elizabeth and her sisters, has died while in India. As the poor man's only living relation, Mr. Bennet must journey abroad, to tend to his brother's business affairs.

Eager for an adventure of any sort, Elizabeth volunteers to accompany her father on the journey, but what she does not expect is that in the depths of negotiations for the management of her late uncle's trade business she will meet the most disagreeable gentleman of her acquaintance and an unexpected rival. Torn between family loyalty and her own interests, Elizabeth will discover that, so far from home and so unexpectedly, she might find the kind of love that she has been searching for.
