Growing up, Alyne was told that she should live her life for others: for her family, the Mormon church, her husband. She did exactly that for 25 years, tamping down anything that didn't fit into the story they'd written for her. Silently struggling to reconcile abuse, an eating disorder, infidelity, and more with this perfect image, she was miserable.
