About
Inside this surreal picture book, Cristina plays, Cristina cleans and Cristina dances.
Cristina explores ordinary tasks like eating and tidying and makes curious discoveries before tumbling into sleep and visiting a fantastical dream world. Cristina Plays sweeps the reader into a clever game where Cristina might be a toy rabbit in a doll house or the child playing with it.
Key Selling Points
• Cristina Plays is a short, slightly surreal picture book about an ordinary day for a little girl and her toy and a fantastical dream.
• The clever twist in the middle of the story-when readers realize the rabbit is Cristina's toy in a dollhouse, not Cristina in her real house-will entertain children and create an interactive read-to-me experience.
• The colorful illustrations include a variety of details that will encourage discovery and discussion.
• Both the author and the illustrator hail from South America-Peru and Colombia respectively.
In this colorful picture book about imagination and play, little Cristina plays with her dollhouse and toy rabbit in a day that involves chores, meals and dreams.
