Coretta Scott King and the Center for Nonviolent Social Change

Coretta Scott King, a woman of intelligence and refinement, served as the perfect partner for Martin Luther King Jr. A strong leader in her own right, she fought for the civil rights of all Americans, advocated for the establishment of a national holiday in memory of her husband, and founded the Center for Nonviolent Social Change to continue her husband's work.
