This is a wonderful book. It's a joy for adults to read for those who can't yet read and a joy for those who are at the beginning of their book journey. Beautifully illustrated, children unable to read, love the pictures. It captures the abundance of nature, warmth and magic of the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago, and the Caribbean in general. This book carries a universal in its message and storytelling. It's full of music and song too, including the scores and lyrics as appendices and one of the songs has been written by the author's late father.
