In this story, Heaven is beyond ruthless, sending a misfortune angel named Marietta to Earth to take out another target. This time, the target is the unknowing son of Satan. Upon her arrival, Marietta meets suspicious Chad, the football team captain, and the good-natured punk Lucifer. Marietta struggles to fulfill a duty handed down from her mother's betrayal and her own choices, entangled in a thorny romance. All the while, Lucifer is just trying to survive high school by keeping his distance from Chad and his deadly new love interest, Marietta. Jesse Wood is a first-time author.
