Of the series of books set in Jana Deleon's world and characters of the Swamp Team 3 and their antics in and around Sinful, Stephen John's books come the closest to the real thing. They have good plots, are extremely funny and generally the characters seem faithful to Ms Deleon's books. I've enjoyed all of the books in his series.

They hear that a treasure hunter disappeared recently and they decide to figure out what happened to him. Enter the 'ghost' of pirate Jean Lafitte to add more mystery. A great who-done-it.
