Action Poems With Lessons for Teaching Reading Readiness

This book was written by a classroom teacher/reading specialist with 40 years of classroom experience. The lessons in this book (focusing on one letter at a time) use action poems, tactile stimulation, pictures to enhance visual memory and specific questioning techniques to increase oral comprehension and vocabulary development. The author incorporates the four modalities of learning (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile) in her lessons.
