A Piece of Mind

Michael Jennings is an unpleasant, middle-aged, divorced man with few friends and fewer redeeming qualities. Prior to his divorce, she siphoned off marital assets and kept them well-hidden, leaving himself financially comfortable. He is a person who tends to always see himself as a victim and readily blames everyone else for his personal problems.
Until that fateful evening when he confronts a near-death experience.
Now Michael is looking for a place to hide. Someone or something is putting him in situations where terror is paralyzing and horror is constant and he's running out of places to hide.
