Her portrayal of the feisty Angela in Sean O'Casey's "Bedtime Story" garnered the Drama-Logue Award.She previously has had recurring roles on "Days of Our Lives" and "The Young and The Restless" and several guest appearances on television shows – including "CHiPs," "Little House on the Prairie," "Rhoda," and "Nine to Five" – and T.V. Movies of the Week. She holds an MA in Theater from Illinois State University.The three plays she has written address topics ranging from the death penalty to stem cell research and human cloning while her first novel, "Hello, 31" tells the tale of a woman who confronts her younger self on her wedding day. "The Cage" is her second novel. "The Cage...a human trafficking thriller," begins with the kidnapping of a fifteen-year-old-girl from her home in a small town. Her devastating journey into the world of sexual slavery alters and threatens her mental and physical stability. Her high school friend and a retired police officer are the only people who care to find her. When they do she doesn't want to return to her former world. This has become her new reality. In the second book in this series, "Without Consent," Suzanne De Marco has returned to her hometown only to realize that she no longer fits in. She is threatened by her former partner Lulu to return to the business and discovers that the town mayor has secretly established a bogus modeling agency on a Caribbean Island to attract underage girls. Lulu has joined partnership with him to lure in model wannabes to The Perfection Agency. Suzanne joins Sgt. Andy Dormer who rescued her in the first book and has now become a romantic interest to thwart the business. The romantic feelings between Suzanne and Sgt. Dormer fade away when he is unfaithful, and the book ends with Suzanne returning to L.A. a jaded and lost woman once again. Look for book three: Burning Ghosts.
