The invasion continues! First defeated by a tiny Earth microbe, the alien invaders have adapted and their total conquest of planet Earth is well under way. Based on concepts and stories originated by H.G. Wells! This Issue: What is left of the resistance in the Midwest tries to stage a desperate last stand against the Martians. After clearing a line of attack from Haven to Kansas City, Julie LaRouque tries to organize what is left of the resistance for a desperate all-out attack on the Martian Hellweed factory. If they fail then the Hellweed will terraform the Earth's atmosphere to that of the Martians within a few years! In the darkest hours of the River City's occupation could come the brightest hope, not just for the Midwest, but for all of humanity. The current story line reaches its climax in this all action issue.
