Velda: Girl Detective

A special oversized double issue! Leading off is the infamous "suppressed" 1950's Velda comic issue as the 'original' publisher folded under the weight of Dr. Frederic Werthham's expose of the comic industry and stories such as "Seduction of the Innocent". With the public outcry against this Velda storyline, the story has never seen print or released until now. As a bonus, this issue features a scrapbook of Velda as she shows us how she went from being a burlesque queen stripper to a private investigator and some of the interesting people she has crossed paths with along the way.
