About

In the secret teachings of ancient Tibet, the dream state is known as "Fourth Time," a malleable realm where the past, present, and future meet. It was here that the first meditation masters of Tibet developed a way to speed their progress through the stages of enlightenment-while they were asleep.

On Tibetan Dream Yoga, respected meditation teacher Lama Surya Das teaches these exercises to awaken fully within the fabric of our dreams-plus specific yogic dreaming techniques to enhance creativity, overcome deep-rooted fears, and free ourselves from harmful habits in our waking lives. Enhanced features include video exercises from Lama Surya Das' Tibetan Energy Yoga and Natural Meditation, the flute music of Tibetan musician Nawang Khechog, and an interview with the author.

Note: These CD-ROM-format enhanced CDs contain audio, music, and video clips and are meant to be played on your computer, using an Internet connection, speakers, and Real Player programs, which are free for download. Enhanced content is exclusive to CD version Dream practices to enhance creativity, overcome deep fears, and break harmful habits.
Lama Surya Das

Lama Surya Das is one of the most highly-trained American-born lamas in the Tibetan Dzögchen tradition and has been leading retreats since 1989. For nearly 50 years, he has studied with the great spiritual masters of Tibet, India, and Asia. Born Jeffrey Allen Miller, he left home for college in the 1960s; went to Woodstock; marched in anti-war rallies in Washington; graduated Phi Beta Kappa from SUNY, Buffalo; then went to India and Asia on a spiritual quest.

Surya Das is the founder of the Dzögchen Foundation and the author of many books, including bestsellers such as Awakening the Buddha Within and Awakening to the Sacred. He is also the founder of the Western Buddhist Teachers Conference with the Dalai Lama, who affectionately calls him "the American Lama." He lives in Lexington, MA. For more, see surya.org.
