In 1982 New York City, friends Dennis and Warren, raised in relative wealth and comfort, now deal drugs out of their apartment slum. Failing to live up to the expectations of his successful parents, Dennis relies on his drug addiction to get by. Meanwhile, after stealing $15,000 from his tycoon father, Warren embarks on an excessive spending-spree with Jessica, a young and naive girl.
