The Quest of the Silver Fleece

Fed up with the corruption and hypocrisy of the North, two lovers return home with a dream. Cotton, or the silver fleece, could relieve Zora and Bles of their poverty in the American South. While struggling to overcome oppression in the post-Reconstruction South, the local white aristocracy is determined to undermine their efforts by controlling the price of the cash crop.
