In thethirty days leading upto the last day of the world, our protagonist, a young man in his latetwenties,has watched the love of his life leave, has lost his job and friends andsense of meaning, and has moved backhome to spend his final weeks with hissurvivalist father, Jewish studies/author mother, andYiddish-speakinggrandfather.As everythingdraws to aclose, the young man tries to make senseof faith,family,and how to live a worthylife even though it will be cut short.
