How to Find the Spiritual Riches that Come in the Final Stage of Life

Old age is not a time of death: it is a phase of life. On The Spiritual Elder, you will gain a new understanding of old age, based on Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi's joy-filled work at the Spiritual Eldering Project. His work reveals that the final period of life can be just as pleasurable-just as full of significant moments-as every other stage of our mortal journey. Old age, he teaches, is an opportunity to find satisfaction that we will never again experience. Now he shares life-affirming wisdom that has brought a renewed sense of optimism and meaning into the lives of seniors from all faiths and backgrounds. Join him to learn more about:

• The theory and practice of spiritual eldering-how it helps not only seniors, but their families and friends as well

• A simple exercise to resolve old fears and anxieties

• The elder "harvest"-turning past sorrows into present joy

• Leaving the most valuable legacy of all (which requires only a paper and pencil)

The Spiritual Elder is for seniors, their families, and care-givers-anyone interested in learning new ways of making each day of life a unique and fulfilling experience. How to enter old age as we were meant to-as the richest and most rewarding time of life.
