A Time for Dying

Phil Pfeiffer, a private detective makes his living chasing bail-skips and photographing cheating spouses. He's also a former Army Ranger who agrees to protect a lovely singer from an unpredictable and savage ex-boyfriend. Struggling with his own demons, he survives a Wild West shootout and uncovers a plot to steal a billion-dollar industry. When the moment comes to settle a question left unanswered on the battlefield, he weighs his own life against the killer and chooses to take both.
