Without any another leads, Cadi concentrates on finding Karl Lewis, a young man who made an abuse complaint against Geraint years ago. Meanwhile, Connor, who placed the anonymous call, worries what his friends Mia and Lee will do to him now that they've found out he contacted the police.

The community gathers together at a local church for a memorial service for Geraint. Cadi and Owen attend in the hope of securing new leads. Connor's overwhelming guilt reaches a breaking point.

Cadi and Owen question Karl again after a witness places him near Geraint's house on the day of the murder. Karl claims he is innocent but appears to be hiding something. Hitting a dead end, Cadi turns her attention to Mia.

As Cadi delves deeper into Mia's relationship with a boy who killed himself years ago, Mia and Connor reel from what happened at the gas station. Later, Cadi is called to the scene when another body is discovered.

With Lee in custody, evidence builds against Mia, but she still evades police efforts to find her. Cadi rushes to the hospital when she hears that Connor is in intensive care after the incident at the lake.
