The Mason family have moved to a windmill and opened a small hotel. Jason's cousins Elsie and Josh come to stay for the summer and Grandpa is entertaining them by dressing up as Captain Dumbletwit. // The Circus has come to Sunnysands and Elsie is very excited. Her enthusiasm grows when a would-be clown called Ravioli arrives at the Mill, hoping to audition for the circus. The problem is, he doesn't know how to be funny.

It's springtime and as part of the seasonal celebrations, Miss Smiley is running a make and do workshop for children at her café. Elsie and Josh go along, and as Jemima is home for the holidays she is helping Miss Smiley. // Josh and Elsie are invited to Bob's boat for an Aussie afternoon. Elsie is feeling shy and asks Grandpa to come along too. But as he hasn't been invited, he has to shrink and hide in Elsie's backpack.

Auntie Jules agrees to look after her friend's little boy, Teddy, while Mrs Goodchild goes to a party. He is no bother at all, but he has a favourite toy he always takes to bed Mr Squeak the mouse. When Teddy accidentally throws it down the mousehole at the Mill, Grandpa has to shrink to rescue it. // Auntie Jules' latest hobby is knitting and the kitchen is full of her creations, some of them stranger than others. Mr Yomper Stomper arrives. He wants to take a photo of a Giant Woolly Carpet Caterpillar.

Celebrity chef, Mrs McWhiskit returns to Sunnysands with plans to make the town out of cake. The great Cake Bake is happening at Miss Smiley's café, and it's not long before Mrs McWhiskit is bossing everyone about. // A very strange guest is staying at the Mill on the Marsh. His name is Mr Munchmould and he is mad about cheese. He turns up unexpectedly at Mr Whoops toy shop, which he actually owns, and declares that instead of selling toys, the shop is going to sell cheese.

Grandpa and Elsie are making Space Spiders for their Captain Dumbletwit puppet play, but unfortunately today's the day Great Aunt Loretta has decided to spring clean the Mill on the Marsh. Great Aunt Loretta hates spiders, even puppet ones. // Mr Mentor's new invention, The Wonderbubble Weather Watcher, says that it's the perfect weather for a boat trip, but Grandpa's not so sure. He shrinks so that he can go sailing with Elsie, Bob and Mr Mentor.

Unfortunately, Great Aunt Loretta is in charge of breakfast and has come up with a disgusting concoction for her guests. // Miss Smiley has organised a medieval-themed fun day at her café and everyone is dressing up. Auntie Jules has made everyone's costume and is pretending to be a fortune teller with a "Flower of the Future".
