Secrets of Singleton

Angel bakes cakes for her uncle's cafe in the village park. She is a goth. Then her uncle gives her a family recipe for chocolate cupcakes with a secret ingredient which has magical powers. When Angel bites one of the cupcakes, she goes all flirty and girly with Pet e, the new delivery lad, whom she fancies. He loves the cupcakes. But when other customers eat them, they think it tastes horrible and criticise them. This causes magical storms that terrify them, which Angel discovers are caused by the ghost of her great-great grandmother. Can Angel help the customers, get them to return to the cafe and not hate her? Will she get together with Pete?

Faith decides to visit her friend, Angel, after another relationship goes wrong as yet again because they don't understand her Asperger's Syndrome. She meets Stan, the local mechanic. He stands up for her when the local residents start criticising her work. Then magical and ghostly things happen: her pictures are seen as misty to 3D to beautiful, and the people who criticise her are scared by mysterious weather in the park. Stan getting to understand her and her Asperger's, so Faith decides to help Stan by motivating him to create a new business within his garage. Then Faith meets the ghost of her great-grandmother, who she realises was so like her and possibly got her Asperger's from. As Faith and Stan get closer to each other, the hearts on Faith's Valentine's card glows. Will the magic bring them together even more? Or will the ghostly goings-on pull them apart?
