I Dream of Wires is a feature-length documentary about the history, demise, and resurgence of a machine that shaped electronic music: the modular synthesizer. Over 100 inventors, enthusiasts, and musicians (including Trent Reznor, Gary Numan, and Vince Clarke) are interviewed about their relationship with the modular synthesizer, for many, it's an all-consuming passion.
