This book contains "number of the day" activities for students to complete during the first part of the school year, starting with day one. These activities encourage time-on-task as part of a teacher's classroom management. Math activities for the student to complete include counting, less than/greater than, place value (modeled by use of tally marks), and more. These number activities are highly recommended for the primary student in understanding basic number sense.
