Every November, in the town of Morrigan, something phenomenal happens. For ten days, a mirage appears in the sky-a complete replica of Morrigan, floating upside down above the tiny Washington town.
Myles is a man at odds with ambition. For him, it's all just another excuse to bar-hop with his friends and continue his daily routine of... well, nothing.

And then, on the first night of the annual festival celebrating the phenomenon in the sky, a mysterious woman approaches Myles-with an impossible familiarity.
