Flesh and Steel

With the Golem in their ranks, the Imperial Brigade led by General Lanford has broken the stalemate at the Fields of Galion and has advanced into Resistance territory. But in the occupied town of Windlot, the Golem encounters a glimpse of humanity that he had long since forgotten; a blind herb seller Claire, willing to befriend him after he saves her from a group of oppressive Imperial soldiers. With wavering convictions, the Golem rides out into battle again, but this time toward the Resistance stronghold of Varanos, where Helsing the Demon Hunter lies in wait for him.
